The repository identifies the Rider–Waite images specifically as Public Domain, and documents third-party scans of a 1909 Pam-A deck cleaned and restored by Steve P. Assets were obtained via jsDelivr's byte-preserving GitHub CDN because raw.githubusercontent.com was intermittently unavailable. Each manifest entry records the GitHub blob SHA for verification.

Independent historic artwork status example: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:RWS_Tarot_00_Fool.jpg marks the historic RWS image as public domain and uses the Public Domain Mark: https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/mark/1.0/

Suggested credit: “Rider–Waite–Smith tarot · Pamela Colman Smith, 1909 · scan restoration: Steve P. · public domain.”

The assets use the repository's 720px-wide JPEG versions. No AI generation, recoloring, or image transformations were applied in this task. Files are meant to be copied into the site's static assets rather than hotlinked.
